Privacy & your information

Last updated: add date

Please note: this is a plain-language starting draft. Before you publish it, have it reviewed by a lawyer or someone familiar with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and health-records law in your state, and fill in the details marked in highlighted boxes.

At Sweet Enough, we look after your information the same way we'd look after our own family's. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe. Sweet Enough is operated by registered entity name / ABN.

What we collect

Why we collect it

Your consent and your choices

Taking part is always your choice. You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to update or delete the information we hold about you, at any time. Just contact us using the details below.

Who can see your information

Only the trained Sweet Enough team members who need it. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We will only share it with a GP or another service when you ask us to, or where the law requires it.

How we keep it safe

We store information securely and limit who can access it. We keep it only for as long as we need it, then remove it. Describe briefly where/how data is stored once you decide your systems.

A note on your health

Sweet Enough offers general information and informal checks. It is not a substitute for care from your own doctor. Any readings taken at an event are a guide, not a diagnosis. If something needs attention, we'll encourage you to see your GP, and in an emergency you should call 000.

Contact us or make a complaint

If you have any questions, or would like to see, correct or delete your information, contact us at hello@sweetenough.org, or through the get in touch form on our website.

If you are not happy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
